Boston Red Sox announce Uber Boston as official rideshare partner

Today, the Boston Red Sox organization and Uber Boston announced their partnership, making Uber Boston the official rideshare partner of the Boston Red Sox. The partnership will make it easier and more convenient for fans to use Uber to get to and from Red Sox games this season. Uber will have signs at Fenway Park gates directing riders to designated areas where they can have the most seamless Uber experience, connecting them to a safe, affordable ride at the tap of a button after enjoying a game at historic Fenway Park.
"We are proud to partner with Uber and provide a more convenient way for fans to locate their Uber rides after the game," said Red Sox Executive Vice President Troup Parkinson. "By creating designated pick-up areas around Fenway Park, both Uber users and drivers will have an easier time locating each other in what is usually a high traffic area. We look forward to working with Uber throughout the 2017 season and welcome them to the Red Sox family."
