Royals secure outright waivers on Casey Coleman, Moises Sierra

The Kansas City Royals announced today that the club has secured outright waivers on right-handed reliever Casey Coleman and outfielder Moises Sierra.   Both players have been assigned outright to Triple-A Omaha, with Coleman having until tomorrow to accept the assignment or elect free agency. Coleman was designated for assignment on December 15, with Sierra designated on December 16.
