Omaha Storm Chasers (49-56)

Omaha dropped a matinee finale as Oklahoma City scored seven in the eighth to take a 9-4 lead. Quintin Berry hit a two-run homer in the fourth and Christian Colon added a solo shot an inning later. Gorkys Hernandez was 1-for-5 plus a stolen base in his Omaha debut. Starter Justin Marks allowed four runs on eight hits over 7.0 innings plus two batters. Former Royal Phil Humber worked 3.0 scoreless innings for the relief win.

WP: Northwest Arkansas won a pair of games over Arkansas. Brian Fletcher's third home run of the game sent Northwest Arkansas to a walk-off win in the completion of Tuesday's contest. Fletcher recorded a total of five hits and five RBI while becoming the first Natural to hit three homers in a game. The seven home runs set a team record. Aaron Brooks tossed a complete-game shutout in the nightcap, holding Arkansas hitless until the sixth.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (15-17 2nd half, 48-54 overall)

Wilmington 7, Myrtle Beach 2

Wilmington snapped a nine-game skid with an opening win vs. Myrtle Beach. Leonel Santiago scattered two runs, five hits and a walk over 5.0 innings. Daniel Hernandez pitched 3.0 scoreless innings and Andrew Triggs worked a perfect ninth. Jorge Bonifacio posted three hits, an RBI and two runs. Jared Schlehuber added two singles, two RBI and a run.

Lexington Legends (20-10 2nd half, 53-45 overall)

The entire Sally League enjoyed an off day. Lexington will complete a suspended game tonight vs. West Virginia, then play a seven-inning contest.

Idaho Falls Chukars (15-17)

The Chukars were off after a 4-3 homestand. They are at Grand Junction (Rockies) tonight.

Burlington Royals (15-17)

Bristol 7, Burlington 4

HR: Sam Bates (6)

Burlington dropped to 1-1 in a three-game set at home. Sam Bates followed his inside-the-park homer on Tuesday with a two-run shot that cleared the fence. Mauricio Ramos was 2-for-3 plus a walk and two runs scored. He's batting .370 on the year (34-for-92).

Surprise Royals (10-18)

Arizona Dodgers 10, Surprise 8
LP: Dylan Sons (0-3)
HR: Brawlun Gomez (4)

Surprise dropped both halves of a home-and-home against the Dodgers. Brawlun Gomez hit a grand slam in the ninth to pull Surprise to within striking distance. He also recorded an RBI single in the first. Chase Darhower pitched 4.0 scoreless innings, allowing a walk and no hits.
