The Clippers are embracing Loft City.

Triple-A Columbus received a home run boost Sunday from a pair of Top 100 prospects. The Guardians' Ralphy Velazquez and Angel Genao lit late fireworks in a 13-11 victory in extra innings over Omaha at Werner Park.

Velazquez, MLB's No. 54 prospect, turned on a high-and-in fastball off Royals veteran lefty Anthony Gose in the ninth inning. The 422-foot shot ended an 11-game drought without an extra-base hit for the left-handed-hitting designated hitter.

In the process, the Guardians' No. 2 prospect also notched his second homer at the level. The 21-year-old Velazquez, who has hit nine total roundtrippers this season, has slashed .274/.351/.402 through 30 Triple-A games.

As Omaha stormed back to send the contest to extra innings, Genao opened up the scoring in the 10th with a two-run knock off southpaw Génesis Cabrera. MLB's No. 54 prospect golfed an inside sinker 406 feet to left-center field.

A switch-hitting third baseman, Genao went 2-for-4 with his 11th double of the season in the sixth. Cleveland's top prospect has collected nine hits -- five for extra bases -- across the past seven games at Triple-A.

Across two levels this season, Genao has slashed .264/.364/.436 with nine homers, 14 doubles, 47 runs and 34 RBIs. The 22-year-old infielder played in his first big league Spring Training this year.

"I had some conversations about how good I can be being a little bit more patient and taking more walks," Genao said in May. "I have a good eye to recognize balls and strikes, but I swing a lot because I have a high-contact rate. That [adjustment] increased the walk rate."

Former Top 100 prospect CJ Kayfus also tagged a homer en route to the victory. The 24-year-old outfielder hit a two-run shot in the fourth.
