More than a dozen Tigers alumni, including 1984 World Series champions Lance Parrish, Dan Petry, Juan Berenguer, Dave Rozema and Howard Johnson, will be on hand for autographs when the Tigers celebrate the season’s second half with what the team is billing Detroit’s Biggest Summer Baseball Bash on Saturday, July 17, prior to their 6:10 p.m. ET game against the Twins at Comerica Park.

Gates will open at 3:30 p.m., an hour earlier than usual, for pregame autographs as well as pregame batting practice for the current Tigers. In addition to the former players listed above, Tigers alumni signing autographs on the Comerica Park concourse include 1968 World Series champions Mickey Lolich, Tom Matchick and Jon Warden; 1979 American League All-Star Steve Kemp; Tigers AL championship manager Jim Leyland, 2006 AL champion Craig Monroe and 2012 AL champions Phil Coke, Andy Dirks and Doug Fister. Several alumni will also participate in a pregame question-and-answer session with fans.

The Tigers will hold a pregame ceremony honoring hundreds of frontline and essential workers in attendance for their hand in helping the city of Detroit and the state of Michigan during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first 10,000 fans in attendance will also receive a Detroit Roots T-shirt.
