had a another big game in a rehab performance on Wednesday.

Doyle, who has been on the Rockies' injured list since May 21 with a left oblique contusion and left groin tightness, went 3-for-5 with a double and a three-run homer for Triple-A Albuquerque, a day after he delivered a 3-for-6 performance with a double and two runs scored.

The 28-year-old Doyle had a .549 OPS in 43 games before he was placed on the injured list. He had a .650 OPS with 15 home runs in 138 games last season.

There is no definitive timetable for Doyle’s return, although there’s certainly optimism given his .395 batting average with five doubles and two homers in 11 Triple-A games during his current rehab assignment. Another encouraging sign is that he played nine innings for the Isotopes in each of his past two games.
