No organization made a larger rise in the Farm System Rankings than the Giants on Sunday, and Bo Davidson provided a glimpse of that promising future soon after that release.
San Francisco's No. 8 prospect emphatically capped a very productive week with a 4-for-5 performance that included two home runs and a career-high eight RBIs for Triple-A Sacramento at Las Vegas Ballpark. Davidson connected on his fourth pro grand slam in the 15-11 win over Las Vegas.
The left-handed-hitting outfielder revved up in the fifth inning when he took two fastballs from righty Jake Garland (A's) up and away. He then sent a 90.1 mph center-cut fastball 440 feet to dead-center field with an exit velocity of 109 mph. That homer scored newly acquired infielders Marcelo Mayer and Shay Whitcomb.
Las Vegas was chipping away at Sacramento's lead by the time the seventh rolled around, but Davidson extended the River Cats' lead. He again took two pitches before golfing a two-run homer to right-center field off righty Nick Hernandez. Davidson also drove in runs with RBI doubles in the fourth and ninth.
COMPLETE GIANTS PROSPECT COVERAGE
Davidson started the six-game series with the Aviators without a hit while reaching base once after getting hit by a pitch. But the 24-year-old followed Tuesday's contest with 13 knocks and 11 RBIs across the next five meetings.
An undrafted free-agent signing in 2023, Davidson has improved in the slugging department this month after a rather slow start at the plate following his promotion from Double-A Richmond. The Caldwell (N.C.) CC product has slashed .346/.426/.673 with four homers and 18 RBIs in 14 August games for the River Cats.

Across two levels this season, Davidson has a career-high 23 homers, including a whopping 11 in June. He slugged .521 over 73 games in the Eastern League before his callup to the Pacific Coast League.
The Giants ranked 19th among farm systems in the preseason, jumping up to No. 5 following the MLB Draft and Trade Deadline rerankings. The organization has five Top 100 prospects after ranking as low as 28th entering the '25 season.
Josuar Gonzalez (SF No. 1/MLB No. 17) also bolstered the case for the Giants' farm system on Sunday. The 18-year-old infielder matched a career-high four RBIs while capping a 10-9 victory for Single-A San Jose with a walk-off single in the 11th.
