Watch LIVE: '26 High School All-American Game

5:48 PM UTC

The 2026 High School All-American Game is here, taking place for the first time in Dyersville, Iowa.

Sandwiched between Tuesday's MiLB at Field of Dreams and MLB at Field of Dreams on Thursday, this prospect showcase is being broadcast live on MLB Network for the first time and is also streaming on MLB.TV, MLB.com and the MLB App with Paul Severino, Dan Plesac, Sande Charles and MLB Pipeline's Jesse Borek on the call.

You can also follow along live on Gameday.

Entering its seventh iteration, the High School All-American Game features 40 of the best prep players in the nation from 16 different states and Puerto Rico. As ever, the rosters are loaded with talent -- last year, nine of the 19 participants drafted went in the top two rounds, and another 12 players ranked in the Draft Top 250.

The players have been split into American and National League sides, with an all-star cast of managers and coaches. Hall of Famer Jim Thome will lead the AL squad alongside coaches Luke Gregerson, JJ Lally, Scott Melvin, Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Rodriguez and Brian Schneider. Nine-time Gold Glove winner Torii Hunter will manage the NL side, with Rick Eckstein, Matt Hyde, Jacque Jones, Chip Lawrence, Brad Penny and Tim Raines Jr. supporting him. Kirk Champion will serve as the bullpen coach for both teams.

There's plenty of talent -- and even familiar names -- competing.

Among the names to watch on the American League side are shortstops Dylan Seward, perhaps the best prospect in the showcase as a switch-hitter with excellent speed, and Carter Hadnot, a standout fielder and plus runner. Outfielder Malachi Butler is a well-rounded athlete who makes strong contact from the left side, and third baseman Brady Cunningham has enormous power, as evidenced by him winning the 2026 High School Home Run Derby at this year's All-Star Weekend.

The AL also has a pair of notable pitchers in righty George Ferguson and lefty Connor Salerno. Ferguson pairs upper-90s velocity with some of the best command in his class, while Salerno, perhaps the top pitcher in the game, can unleash a devastating fastball-slider combination out of a lower slot.

The National League side also has a group of notable shortstops leading the way. Lubin Rincon has a sweet left-handed swing and plenty of projection left in his 6-foot-3 frame, while Leo Nockley is an advanced hitter from the left side who has impressive pop for his smaller size. Sebastian Castillo has the makings of a powerful right-handed hitter.

Several NL players have notable athletic family members as well. Drake Hawpe is an outfielder with promising left-handed power like his All-Star father, Brad, and Striker Pence, the nephew of two-time World Series champ Hunter, is a 6-foot-6 righty who can touch triple digits. Chase Fuller, son of former NFL defensive back Corey, is a toolsy two-way power hitter who can reach the mid-90s on the mound.
