But most of all, MLB.TV brings you baseball action every night. Here are some of the best matchups you can enjoy during MLB.TV’s Rivalry Weekend Free Preview:
Mets at Yankees: The Subway Series is always a must on the baseball calendar, but there's added intrigue to this crosstown rivalry as Juan Soto returns to the Bronx for the first time since leaving the Yankees to go to the Mets. Expect Soto to get the Bronx cheer all weekend long.
Guardians at Reds: Terry Francona, who managed Cleveland for 11 seasons before stepping aside after the 2023 season, faces his former club when he leads the Reds at Great American Ball Park in the Ohio Cup. Cincinnati last won the head-to-head series in 2014, Francona’s second year with Cleveland.
Mariners at Padres: It'll be a Jam session this weekend at Petco Park. This is the first year of the "Vedder Cup," an ode to Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, once a resident of both Seattle and San Diego. The winner of the season series will take home a trophy featuring a guitar provided by Vedder himself.
Angels at Dodgers: The Angels have the all-time edge over the Dodgers in the Freeway Series with a 75-73 record. Even with Shohei Ohtani switching sides, the Halos split the season series last year.
Astros at Rangers: The Silver Boot Series kicked off on Thursday, and the rivals are in a dogfight in the AL West with the Mariners and A's. There's no better time to create some breathing room during this four-game set. The Astros haven’t lost the season series since 2016, which was the rivals' fourth year as division foes.
