Prior to tonight's game vs. Texas, the Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Nicky Delmonico on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured third metatarsal on his right hand, and recalled right-handed pitcher Dylan Covey and infielder José Rondón from Class AAA Charlotte. Following last night's game, Chicago optioned right-hander Carson Fulmer to Charlotte.
Covey, 26, made his only appearance with the White Sox this season as the starter in Game 2 of a doubleheader on April 28 at Kansas City.
