June 24th, 2021

CHICAGO – As the team opens fully to 100 percent capacity for the first time since the 2019 season, the Chicago White Sox share the following recommendations for fans who are attending games at Guaranteed Rate Field, beginning with Reopening Night on Friday, June 25 vs. the Seattle Mariners.

Gate Opening Times and Ballpark Entry

• First pitch of Reopening Night is Friday, June 25 at 7:10 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.

• Gates open 90 minutes before the games.

• Providing fans contactless entry into the ballpark, all White Sox tickets are mobile.

• Fans are strongly encouraged to have their game tickets downloaded onto their smartphone in advance through the MLB Ballpark, StubHub or Ticketmaster app, or online through the White Sox Account Manager page (whitesox.com/myaccount under “Account Manager”).

• For more information about mobile ticketing and managing tickets on your smartphone, visit whitesox.com/mobiletickets.

*Parking Information *

• Parking lots open two hours before the start of every game. Fans holding mobile prepaid parking coupons should display the coupons prominently as they approach the ballpark.

• Fans are strongly encouraged to have their parking coupons downloaded onto their smartphones to avoid delays.

• Parking is available on the day of the game for $25 Monday-Saturday. Parking passes purchased in advance are available for $20. All Sunday parking passes remain $10.

• Fans should visit whitesox.com/parking to purchase parking passes online and for more information about parking. Fans should expect day-of-game parking purchases to be conducted with official staff upon entry into the lot and NOT prior to entry outside of any parking lot.

• Prepaid red coupons are accepted in Parking Lots A, B, and C, and prepaid green coupons are accepted in Lots F and L only. Day-of-game parking is very limited once lots open (Lots G, F and L).

• Lot B at Gate 5 of the ballpark is designated for cars displaying state-issued disability placards or license plates. In addition, any guests in need of assistance will be allowed by ballpark personnel to be dropped off and/or picked up in Lot B. Fans will have access to Lot B and Gate 5 (located north of the ballpark; across 35th Street) via 33rd Street.

• Free shuttle service will be available on Friday from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT at 35th Street and State Street) beginning at 5 p.m. Fans arriving after the gates open or closer to the start of the game are encouraged to proceed directly to IIT for parking.

• Fans planning to use rideshare services can head to the Rideshare Zone in Lot A for pick-up and drop-off. The designated area is on the east side of Lot A along Wentworth Ave. For access to the designated lot, drivers should head south on Wentworth Ave. and enter Lot A between 33rd and 35th Street. The lot will be open until one hour after home games conclude.

• Tailgating is permitted in parking lots except Lots C and D. Fans who tailgate must set up in their respective parking space and avoid blocking pathways and traffic.

*Public Transportation *

• The White Sox recommend that fans utilize public transportation. The CTA Red Line stops near the ballpark at the Sox-35th Street station, and the Green Line is just two blocks farther east at the 35th Street station.

• A Metra stop at 35th Street is conveniently located just east of the Dan Ryan Expressway, along the Rock Island line. For the most up-to-date game day service information, including weekend inbound train schedules to meet the various scheduled first pitch start times, check metrarail.com.
