He might go back-to-back if he keeps performing like he did Friday for Triple-A Sacramento.
Davidson, the Giants' No. 8 prospect, went 3-for-4 with an RBI double during the River Cats' 6-4 loss to Reno at Sutter Health Park. The toolsy outfielder has four multi-hit games to go along with three homers in September and is batting .349 with a 1.078 OPS through 47 plate appearances this month.
That looks a lot like his fantastic August, when he hit .323 with seven home runs and a 1.046 OPS. Davidson recorded 28 RBIs in 26 games and had more walks (15) than strikeouts (14) last month.

Signed as an undrafted free agent out of Caldwell Tech Community College in 2023, Davidson has average-to-above-average tools across the board. He is a solid corner outfielder with plus arm strength. He possesses the athleticism to play center, although he has played just one game at that spot through 50 games with Sacramento this season.
Davidson has also hit well at just about every level of the Minors and boasts a .288/.357/.527 slash line with 29 homers and 19 stolen bases between Double-A and Triple-A this year. It's not out of the question that we'll see him in the big leagues for the first time before MLB's regular season ends on Sept. 27.
