Astros-Mets game postponed due to rain

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Today’s scheduled Astros Spring Training game vs. the New York Mets has been postponed due to rain. The game had been scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. ET. This is the first rainout of the Spring for the Astros.

As a result of the forecast, both LHP Framber Valdez and RHP Hunter Brown threw simulated games this morning, ahead of the rain. Valdez was scheduled to start today’s game while Brown was scheduled to pitch in relief for today’s game.

The Astros next scheduled game is tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. in Jupiter, FL, vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. RHP Cristian Javier is scheduled to start for Houston.
