Astros-Nationals game cancelled due to rain

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – – Today’s scheduled Astros Spring Training game vs. the Washington Nationals has been cancelled due to rain. The game had been scheduled to start at 6:05 p.m. ET. This is the second rainout of the Spring for the Astros.

As a result of the forecast, LHP Framber Valdez threw five innings on the backfields. Valdez was scheduled to start tonight’s game.

The Astros next scheduled game is tomorrow at 1:10p.m. in Port St. Lucie, vs. the New York Mets. RHP Cristian Javier is scheduled to start for Houston.
