Snitker to be inducted into Braves Hall of Fame on April 25

2:19 PM UTC

The Braves will induct long-time coach and manager Brian Snitker into the Braves Hall of Fame in a special pregame ceremony at Truist Park on Saturday, April 25, before the Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:15 p.m ET. Braves Hall of Famers representing several eras of Braves baseball are expected to return to Truist Park to participate in the induction ceremony, including Tom Glavine, Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Dale Murphy, Ralph Garr, Tim Hudson, David Justice, John Schuerholz, Terry Pendleton, Leo Mazzone, and Joe Simpson. The ceremony will celebrate and thank Snitker for his impact on the Braves organization with tribute videos, speeches, and a jacket and plaque presentation.

The Braves Hall of Fame honors those players, managers, executives, and individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the Braves organization. Snitker will become the 42nd Brave to be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame and will be the first Braves Hall of Fame inductee since 2024.

2026 marks Snitker’s 50th year in the Braves organization, now serving as a senior advisor for the club. During his tenure as Braves manager, Snitker led the team to the 2021 World Series championship, six consecutive NL East titles (2018–2023), and 811 wins. He has the third-most managerial wins in franchise history behind Hall of Famers Bobby Cox (2,149) and Frank Selee (1,004). From the point of his managerial debut through his retirement, Snitker’s 811 wins ranked second in MLB behind only Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He won 383 games at Truist Park and managed 299 different players as Braves manager. Snitker was a four-time finalist for National League Manager of the Year across nine seasons.

BravesVision will air an extended hour-long Braves On Deck Presented by Chick-fil-A pregame show, beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET on April 25. In addition to showing highlights and tributes to celebrate Snitker, BravesVision will carry the Braves Hall of Fame induction ceremony in its entirety.
