School's still in session and the weather's a bit chilly, but no matter. If there's a Minor League Baseball game to be played, then there's a good chance that there'll be an attention-getting promotion to go along with it. To that end, here are nine stellar promos taking place over the remainder of April. Let the below endeavors serve as a snapshot of the industry's creativity as well as a reminder to support your local Minor League Baseball team.
75th Anniversary of the Nat jerseys
Vancouver Canadians (High-A TOR) April 7, 21, 28
Vancouver's Nat Bailey Stadium -- colloquially known as the Nat -- is celebrating its 75th anniversary this season. The Canadians are celebrating this intimate, charming, throwback facility by wearing specialty "The Nat" jerseys for every Tuesday home game. This includes their April 7 home opener, as well as two more April games that feature a Nat-related giveaway (logo pin on April 21, stadium replica on April 28).

Bowling Green Bootleggers
Bowling Green Hot Rods (High-A TB), April 9, April 23
The Bowling Green Bootleggers are one of the longest-running alternate identities in all of Minor League Baseball, debuting in 2016 and utilized by the Hot Rods in every season since. The name and logo pays tribute to the renegades who produced and distributed illicit moonshine throughout the state of Kentucky, sometimes using their hot rods to outrun Johnny Law. The team will play as the Bootleggers for every Thursday home game, beginning on April 9. 2026's jerseys are inspired by the color of a charred bourbon barrel; the hat puts the spotlight on a bat-wielding bearded bootlegger riding high atop a flaming barrel. Drink up.

Reno Silver Sox
Reno Aces (Triple-A AZ), April 9, 16, 30
Before Reno was home to the Aces, it was the domain of the Silver Sox. This California League team -- the only team in the circuit to compete outside of its titular state -- debuted in 1947 and operated in fits and starts through 1992. 2026 marks the third season in which the Aces will play games as the Silver Sox, suiting up as such for every Thursday home game. The primary logo puts the "Miner" in Minor League Baseball.

Single Again in the City
Hartford Yard Goats (Double-A COL), April 14
Minor League teams often hold wedding-themed "Renew Your Vows" promotions, but what about the flip side of that equation? The Yard Goats are filling the void with a "downtown Hartford divorce party" dedicated to those looking for another chance at love. Hosted by two local morning radio deejays and sponsored by a law firm that specializes in divorce, this shindig will feature "low key icebreakers to help singles make connections." Just think, you may one day be able to tell people you met your soulmate at a Double-A ballpark.

In Penny We Trusted
Altoona Curve (Double-A PIT), April 15
The U.S. Mint stopped producing pennies in 2025, ending a 232-year run for the United States' oldest form of currency. The Curve are paying tribute on April 15, with the first 500 fans receiving a commemorative "final penny" upon entering the ballpark. Bleacher tickets are available for a single cent, and there will also be "concession offers and add-ons that recognize the one-cent wonder." This is a great promo but would pale in comparison to Nickel Night, as that is a feast for the five cent-ses.

Augusta Azaleas
Augusta GreenJackets (Single-A ATL), April 17-18
The Augusta GreenJackets' name is a reference to the Masters Tournament, but once that iconic golf tourney is done the team moves on to celebrating other aspects of their region. The team unveiled their "Azaleas" alternate identity last season, and now this celebration of vibrant local flora is set to return. Spring will be in the air on April 17 and 18, with the former game featuring an Auggie Augusta Azaleas Garden Gnome giveaway. (Auggie, a bee mascot, enjoys pollinating azaleas.)

Wichita Chili Buns
Wichita Wind Surge (Double-A MIN), April 17-18
After a one-year hiatus, the Wichita Chili Buns are back. This alternate identity pays tribute to the Midwest comfort food, which simply and sensibly consists of a cinnamon bun placed on top of a bowl of chili. On April 17 legendary competitive eater Joey Chestnut will partake in a chili bun eating competition. The following day fans will receive a coveted pair of Wichita Chili Bun boxer shorts (because they'll warm up your chilly buns). Meanwhile, Wind Surge general manager Matt Hamilton has agreed to have a bucket of baked beans dumped on him if fans contribute 1,000 items to the weekend's hygiene product charity drive. This weekend has it all.

Asparagus Night
Stockton Ports (Single-A ATH), April 18
Stockton was once known as "The asparagus capital of the world," a fact that the Ports have long celebrated. This year's iteration of Asparagus Night will feature an array of specialty concession items, including asparagus fries, bacon-wrapped asparagus and green beer (which presumably does not include asparagus). Stop by the team store and look for merchandise featuring Five O'Clock Dock, a burly, asparagus-toting dock worker. Kind of like if Popeye had a different favorite vegetable.

Biloxi Mudbugs debut
Biloxi Shuckers (Double-A MIL), April 25
Crawfish? Crayfish? Crawdads? The Shuckers are honoring these deceptively tasty Gulf Coast crustaceans by yet another name: Mudbugs. This alternate identity's April 25 debut takes place one week after Biloxi's annual Crawfish Music Festival, during which attendees will consume thousands of pounds of "mudbug" while watching the likes of Bush and Buckcherry. The Shuckers utilized a red-heavy color scheme to bring their Mudbugs look to life, though when you're getting boiled in a pot you don't have much life left.
