What is the Hero of the Game presented by Nicolet Law and Vortex®?
The Hero of the Game presented by Nicolet Law and Vortex® (“Hero of the Game”) is designed to honor active military members and veterans for their service and sacrifices they have made for our country. To thank our Hero of the Game for their service and show our appreciation for the sacrifices they make in keeping our country safe, each regular season home game, the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, Limited Partnership (the “Brewers” or “Sponsor”) ) will recognize one Hero of the Game in the community.
Who can be nominated for the Hero of the Game?
A nominee for the Hero of the Game must be an active military member or veteran who resides in Wisconsin and is at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. The Brewers will review all nominations and select one (1) individual to receive the Hero of the Game each 2026 regular season home game. Nominees who meet the above criteria will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis based on the order in which the nominations were received. Nominees who meet the above criteria and are not selected during the 2026 regular season will be added to the waiting list for the 2027 season.
Who can nominate an individual for the Hero of the Game?
Any U.S. resident who is eighteen (18) years of age or older (except in the case of legal residents of certain states where the legal age is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such legal age of majority) can nominate a qualifying Wisconsin resident eighteen (18) years of age or older for the Hero of the Game, provided the nominator has secured permission from the nominee to disclose his/her personal information within the nomination. If a minor child wishes to nominate, the child’s parent or legal guardian eighteen (18) years of age or older must submit the nomination. Self-nominations by Wisconsin residents, 18+ are permitted in accordance with these guidelines. All individuals submitting nominations agree to release and hold the MLB Entities (defined below), including the Brewers, Nicolet Law, and Vortex, harmless from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action that may arise against either of them in connection with nominations submitted as part of this program. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities.
How do I nominate someone for the Hero of the Game?
Nominations for the Hero of the Game can be made by completing a nomination form online at brewers.com/hero. All nominations for 2026 Hero of the Game recipients must be submitted between 10:00 a.m. CT June 23, 2026, and 10:00 a.m. CT August 31, 2026, or until all available slots have been filled, whichever is sooner.
How will the Hero of the Game be honored?
Each recipient of the Hero of the Game will be recognized on the main scoreboard at American Family Field and receive four (4) Field Infield Box tickets for recipient and three (3) guests to a mutually agreed upon 2026 Brewers regular season home game (subject to availability and blackout dates), one (1) preferred parking pass, and a goody bag from the presenting partner of that game’s Hero of the Game promotion. All details, including, without limitation, the exact nature and duration of the scoreboard recognition shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Milwaukee Brewers and subject to availability.
For MLB Tickets: Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see brewers.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the applicable prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Each recipient’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Each recipient and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations; see brewers.com/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the other MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any recipient and/or their guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the other MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and experience forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket.
What else should I know?
The Brewers retain sole and absolute discretion regarding the evaluation of nominees and the selection of each recipient for the Hero of the Game. If a nominee does not accept the award within seventy-two (72) hours of communication from the Brewers notifying the nominee, the Brewers may select a different nominee as the recipient in the Brewers’ sole and absolute discretion. The Brewers may contact nominators or nominees using information provided on the nomination form, for the purpose of evaluating nominees. All decisions made by the Brewers in connection with the Hero of the Game are final, and no correspondence will be entered into relating to these decisions. The Brewers reserve the right to require potential award recipients to complete certain documentation, such as a certificate of eligibility, liability release, publicity release (except where prohibited by law), photo/image waiver and release, and authorization for background check, as a condition of potential selection for receipt of the Hero of the Game.
