Began season on Gwinnett’s roster, but was recalled on 4/17 and made season debut with the Braves on 4/18 at Chicago (NL); gave up two runs in 5.0ip and picked up the win...Suffered losses in his next two starts with the Braves on 4/25 vs. Arizona and 4/29 vs. Chicago (NL)...Was optioned to Gwinnett on 4/29...Pitched 5.0 scoreless innings and won his first Triple-A start on 5/6 at Charlotte...Was recalled to start on 5/11 vs. Toronto (6.0ip/2er); was optioned out following the game...Was recalled again on 5/22 and gave up one run in 6.2 innings while winning a 6-1 decision vs. Pittsburgh; also singled off Mitch Keller in the game... POSTSEASON

Made his postseason debut in Game 4 of the NLCS vs. Los Angeles and held the Dodgers to one hit and one run over 6.0 innings, fanning five…It was his only appearance of the postseason...Became just the second rookie pitcher in baseball history to start his postseason debut and allow no more than one hit in at least 6.0 innings, joining the Cardinals’ Michael Wacha in Game 4 of the 2013 NLDS...Wilson went 6.0 innings and allowed one run in the game, while teammate Ian Anderson pitched 6.0 scoreless innings in his postseason debut during Game 2 of the Wild Card Series...They are just the second set of teammates in a single postseason to go at least 6.0 innings and allow no more than one run in their playoff debuts prior to turning 23, joining Hall-of-Famer Jim Palmer and Wally Bunker of the 1966 Baltimore Orioles.
