Senior Vice President, Ballpark Operations
Now entering his 33rd season with the Padres, Mark Guglielmo was promoted to his current role in December 2016, after serving as vice president, ballpark operations/general manager, Petco Park since November 2010. He is responsible for all facility management and event operations at Petco Park, while also overseeing engineering, building maintenance and repairs, cleaning and janitorial services, playing field and exterior landscape maintenance, broadcast and transmission operations, guest services, security and transportation and capital projects.
Guglielmo joined the Padres in 1985 as scoreboard supervisor. He was named director of video operations and special projects in 1988 and director of stadium operations in 1995.
Guglielmo earned a Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands and studied communications at the University of California, San Diego. He resides in the Mission Hills area of San Diego with his wife, Chris. He has three grown children: daughters Meghan, Mallory and son, Dominic.
