On-Deck Waitlist Member Seat Selection Event

Thank you for being part of the On-Deck Membership Waitlist! The Season Ticket Member Seat Selection Event begins December 2 and runs through mid-December. This is your opportunity to secure seats for the 2026 season. Your exact selection date will be sent to you via email and is based on your priority position (when you joined the waitlist).

Overview and Timeline
As an On-Deck Waitlist Member, you will have the opportunity to select membership seats for the 2026 season, based on priority. To help you plan, please keep the following items in mind:
- The virtual seat selection event will take place beginning December 2 and runs through mid-December. You will be assigned a seat selection date and time based on your priority in line on the waitlist.
- Additional information will be sent via email leading up to your time with specific details regarding your conversion time and process to select seats.
- Available seat locations are based on the remaining inventory following current membership renewals. Locations and plan types are not guaranteed.
- After selecting seats, you can select a monthly payment plan that lets you split your seats into equal payments until August 15, 2026. Please note, signing up for this payment plan enrolls you in automatic renewal for your membership for subsequent seasons.
- Once you have completed the process of selecting seats, you will be introduced to our Membership Services team that will be a key benefit and resource as you begin your tenure as a Padres Member.
- If you do not select seats during your conversion time, you will be automatically renewed for your On-Deck Waitlist Membership in January and will continue to enjoy your Waitlist Member benefits throughout the 2026 season.
Membership Plan Details
There are different membership plans, which may be available for the 2026 Padres season. Each plan has a set schedule and number of games to fit everyone’s preferences and schedules, and the level of plan you select determines your ticket discount and access. Please review the different plans available to determine which plan is best for you.

- Platinum - Access to each Padres Home Game*
- Gold - Access to half the Padres Home Games + Opening Day*
- Blue - Access to 20 Games*

Membership Benefits

When you become a Padres Member for the 2026 season, you unlock additional benefits not available to you as an On-Deck Waitlist Member. Benefits are based on the membership plan you select.
All members receive:
- Best access to Opening Day and Postseason tickets based on your plan type (more information below)
- Invitations to exclusive member events throughout the year
- Dedicated Membership Services team to assist you with your account
- Discounts on tickets, food, beverage & merchandise, including Member Happy Hour with drinks starting at $5 before first pitch
When selecting your plan, it is important to consider the access that comes with the membership you select.
Platinum Plan
- Guaranteed Opening Day seat location - You get your seats for Opening Day every season (seat location may vary)
- Postseason Strip Access - Access to the same number of membership seats for each home game played during the postseason; renewed members have access to Pay as We Play payment options
- Membership Events - Platinum Members get access to the most Padres membership events throughout the year
Gold Plan
- Guaranteed Opening Day Access - You get seats for Opening Day every season (seat location may vary)
- Postseason Strip Access - Access to the same number of membership seats for each home game played during the postseason; renewed members have access to Pay as We Play payment options
- Membership Events - Gold Members get access to multiple Padres events throughout the year
Blue Plan
- Presale Access to Opening Day - You get priority presale to Opening Day ahead of the general public
- Postseason Single Game Ticket Access - Priority access to Postseason ticket presales
- Membership Events – Blue Members get access to a select number of Padres membership events throughout the year
Importance of Tenure

Tenure refers to the length of time you have been a Padres Season Ticket Member. This is similar to your waitlist priority, which depends on when you joined the waitlist. If you become a member for the 2026 season, your tenure will start as of 2025. When you renew your membership each season, your tenure will remain intact because we count tenure based upon the years of consecutively renewing your season ticket membership.
Each year you renew, you gain tenure, which unlocks additional benefits. If you do not renew your membership, your tenure will start over, and you will have to join the waitlist again if you decide you want to return as a member in the future.
Tenure is important, as it impacts your seat locations and access to other benefits, including the following:
- Tenure determines your Opening Day seating location if you are a Platinum or Gold Member.
- Tenure plays a role in your Postseason seating and access each season.
- The longer your tenure, the more access you will have to special events throughout the year!
Additionally, members who renew each year get access to our virtual relocation event. Similar to the On-Deck Waitlist Member Seat Selection event, you will receive a designated date and time to access available inventory for the following season should you want to relocate or upgrade your seat location or add-on additional seats. Your designated date and time are based upon your tenure - the longer your tenure, the earlier you will have access to the event.
Fun Fact: We have over 50 accounts that have had their Padres Membership since 1969! That means they have renewed their Membership every single year since the inception of the team.
Important Member Seat Selection Information
Please read the following information carefully:
- Each step of the online process is timed. You will receive an email with additional instructions, as well as the time you can access the online Member Seat Selection event.
- You can select up to the same number of membership seats as fees reserved on your waitlist account. For example, 4 fees = 4 seats to select. If you would like to add additional seats than you originally reserved, please contact your waitlist account representative. Additional waitlist fees will apply.
- You will not be able to leave a single seat when relocating or adding on seats. For example, if you see a set of 3 seats, you need to purchase either 1 or 3, you cannot just select 2.
- If you are purchasing a Platinum or Gold plan, your account representative will contact you directly to secure your Opening Day seat(s). Blue Members will have priority access to Opening Day tickets via a Blue Member presale closer to next season.
- Access to available inventory will not be available until your designated date and time.

Which seats will be available?
Available inventory is based on seat locations that have become available from members who did not renew for the 2026 season. Memberships are limited and seat locations and plan types are subject to availability.
How does it work?
Select On-Deck Waitlist Members will be assigned a specific date and time based on their priority spot on the waitlist. You will select your seats online via your My Tickets Account portal. Step-by-step instructions for logging in and selecting your seats will be emailed to you prior to the selection process.
What if I can't make that time?
While you are unable to view available inventory until your designated time, you can log on at any point after that through the end of the process. This means you can also log on the day after your selected date/time.
What if the system won't allow me to select seats I have found?
If you are not able to select seats, be sure you aren't leaving a single seat, as the system will not allow this. If this is not the case and you are still having issues, please contact your account representative or New Membership at 619.795.5015.
What if I want to become a 2026 member, but there are no available seats that I want?
Due to our expanding membership base, inventory is limited for the 2026 season. If you do not find any seats that you wish to select, you can renew your position on the waitlist via automatic renewal on January 15, 2026. However, you will not establish tenure to be a part of the Member Relocation Event in 2026. If you joined the On-Deck Waitlist on or after September 20, 2025, you will not have to renew your position on the waitlist in January 2026.
What if I want to add on more seats than I reserved when initially joining the On-Deck Membership Waitlist?
If you would like to add additional seats than you originally reserved, please contact your Padres account representative. Additional waitlist fees will apply.
Will there be any premium spaces available during the seat selection process?
Our premium spaces are nearly sold out and will not be available to select online during seat selections. However, there is still limited availability in the Cutwater Agave Club.
