The San Diego Padres and Food Allergy Research & Education® (FARE), are proud to present the Peanut-Controlled Zone at Petco Park on Sunday, July 14 as the Padres take on the Braves at 1:10 p.m.
The San Diego Padres are pleased to create a peanut-controlled seating area for select games this season. Please check back throughout the season as we will add additional games! Preparations for the event include:
- Power-washing the seating section
- Placing emergency responders nearby
- Removing items with any peanut related ingredients in the immediate area
- Posting "No Peanut Zone" signs around the section
A portion of ticket sales for these games will be donated to Food Allergy Research & Education® (FARE).
While efforts will be made by the Padres to create a section of Petco Park that has a lower concentration of peanut allergens for guests in connection with the event, there can be no assurance that this section of Petco Park is free of peanut allergens. Furthermore, other common areas of Petco Park that lead to and from this section are not peanut-free. By purchasing tickets and attending this event you and your guests are assuming the risk that peanut and other allergens will be present at Petco Park and you and your guests release the Padres and its affiliates from any and all liability associated with you and your guests' adverse reaction to such allergens.
