Despite having his season shortened by a late-season stint on the IL, still finished among A.L. rookie leaders in doubles (8th, 15), hits (11th, 70), extra-base hits (14th, 24), and runs (14th, 31) in his MLB debut…spent two stints with Texas (5/4-20 and 6/21-end of season), along with stint on IL from 8/29-9/16 with left hamstring strain suffered on 8/28 vs. HOU…produced career-best 16-G on-base streak from 8/15-9/21…had streaks of 11 straight with a hit (8/15-27) and seven straight with multiple hits (8/20-27)…the 11-G hit streak matched longest by a Ranger in ’21, while the 7-G multi-hit streak was longest for club since Alex Rios in 2014 (7) and longest in MLB for the season…selected Rangers Player of the Month for August after batting .310 with 4 HR and 10 RBI in 25 games…game-tying home run on 7/31 vs. SEA was 1st game-tying blast by a Ranger with club trailing by multiple runs in the 9th inning since 8/24/18 at SF (Rougned Odor)…started games in 8 of 9 spots in the batting order (all except leadoff)…made at least 10 starts at 2B, DH, 1B, 3B, and one start in LF.

Did not see official game action after the minor league season was cancelled due to the pandemic…batted .231 (6-26) with two HR and seven RBI over 15 games in the Cactus League prior to the shutdown…was included on Texas’ initial 60-man player pool before the resumption of the regular season in July, and participated in Summer Camp workouts and scrimmages at Globe Life Field…assigned to Alternate Training Site in Arlington on 7/19 and spent the remainder of the campaign there.

Registered the 5th-highest qualified average (.300) among Texas minor leaguers in his 2nd season at the Triple-A level…was named an MiLB.com organization All-Star after leading Nashville (AAA) batters in doubles (30), runs (91), and OPS (.871) and finishing 3rd in HR (20) and RBI (65)… recorded 20-game on-base streak from 7/24-8/20, batting .377 (29-77) with a .473 OBP during that stretch…slashed .308/.385/.538/.924 (52-169) in 43 contests after the All-Star break compared to .295/.368/.473/.841 (88-298) in 78 games before the break…owned reverse splits, batting .302 (104- 344) with .895 OPS against right-handed pitchers opposed to .293 (36-123) with .805 OPS vs. left-handers…saw action defensively at the shortstop position (26 G) for the 1st time in his professional career, but split the majority of his appearances in the field between third base (48 G) and second base (35 G).

Spent the entire season with Round Rock in his 1st career Triple-A action…led the Express in games (125), hits (131), and total bases (190) while also ranking among club leaders in walks (2nd, 40), home runs (T2nd, 12), doubles (T2nd, 21), runs (T3rd, 62), and RBI (4th, 55)…among Pacific Coast League leaders, finished 7th in PA/SO (6.96), T7th in hits, and T8th in games played…batted .289 (101-349) with .743 OPS against right-handed pitching, .263 (30-114) with .787 OPS against southpaws…made 115 total starts at third base (91) and second base (24), compiling a .973 fielding pct. Returned to Frisco for a 2nd consecutive season, starting 70 games as the team's primary second baseman… also started games at designated hitter (8) and third base (4)… batted .333/.398/.524 (28-84) over 22 games from 4/9-6/16 before posting a .248/.304/.367 (54-218) line over 58 games from 6/17-end of season…on disabled list, 4/18-5/29, with right finger dislocation…went 4-for-5 with 2 home runs and a careerhigh 6 RBI on 5/31 vs. Northwest Arkansas, his 2nd game following DL stint…batted .278 (20-72) against left-handed pitchers compared to .261 (62-238) against right-handers, with all 8 of his home runs coming against righties…slashed .313/.365/.453/.818 (20-64) with RISP, including .354 (17-48) with RISP and 2 outs…compiled a .985 (5 E/338 TC) fielding percentage at second base.
