HOME BASE PROGRAM

ROUNDING THIRD HEADING FOR ... HOME BASE

Created in 2018 in conjunction with Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, Home Base is a competitive, week-long camp for baseball and softball players who are rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (male and female) that combines individualized athletic training with academic test preparation and life skills development. The five-day program provides holistic training through the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Cincinnati to propel student-athletes to the next level of success as SCHOLARS, ATHLETES, and LEADERS both on and off the field.

The 2021 program will take place on June 28-July 2, 2021. The participant application for the program is available through April 30. Selection of about 50 participants will take place by May 14. Orientation meetings will take place in late May/early June.
