August 12th, 2023

PITTSBURGH -- Saturday night’s game between the Pirates and Reds has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Sunday.

The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET, while the second game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

The Pirates will have Mitch Keller start the first game of the doubleheader, and Andre Jackson, who was scheduled to appear on Saturday, will start the second game of the doubleheader.

Cincinnati has Saturday's scheduled starter, Brandon Williamson, set to pitch Game 1. Luke Weaver is slated to start Game 2. The Reds won the first game of the three-game series, 9-2, on Friday.

Pittsburgh will wear its uniforms honoring the Homestead Grays during the second game.

Tickets for Saturday night’s game are valid for the same seats as the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader. Those tickets can also be exchanged for any remaining home game for the remainder of the season, pending availability.

There will be no postgame Kids Run the Bases after the 1:35 p.m. game on Sunday, and the Ballpark App and Kids Club Kiosk will be closed for the 6:05 p.m. game.
