MLB PLANS TO SCHEDULE 60-GAME REGULAR SEASON

Commissioner of Baseball Robert D. Manfred, Jr. announced today that Major League Baseball anticipates beginning its 2020 regular season approximately one month from today, on July 23rd or July 24th.

All tickets previously purchased for the 2020 season will no longer be valid. The Red Sox are offering ticket holders the opportunity for refunds or credits for all originally scheduled 2020 games at Fenway Park.

Fans who purchased individual game tickets directly from the Red Sox will have two options:

  • Receive a full refund
  • Receive a credit to their account which can be used during the 2021 season.

Season Ticket Holders will have the option of receiving a credit towards 2021 season ticket renewals or additional single game tickets in 2021. Those Season Ticket Holders who choose a credit will receive a 10% bonus credit incremental to the total dollar amount of their season ticket for the 2020 season.

All tours for both Fenway Park and JetBlue Park have been suspended indefinitely.
