Rockies transactions for March 28
SCOTTSDALE - The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has optioned right-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles to Triple-A Colorado Springs and placed right-handed pitcher Jhoulys Chacin (right shoulder strain) and left-handed pitcher Boone Logan (left elbow inflammation) on the 15-day disabled list. The placement of both Chacin and Logan on the 15-day DL is retroactive to March 21st.
Following these moves, the Rockies have 30 players on the Major League Spring Training roster, including 5 non-roster players.
The Rockies currently have a full 40-man roster.
