Engineer - Electrician (Full-Time)

This position performs Journeyman level work in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical, fire alarm, communication and video systems in compliance with all regulatory agencies. This is a regular status, full-time position eligible for all company benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and related systems. The maintenance work includes doing preventive maintenance on the building's electrical and related systems. Remain in compliance with current electrical codes.

  • Work is assigned by means of verbal or written orders and is carried out by the position in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade. Work is subject to inspection while in progress and upon completion.

  • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Must be able to survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.

  • Expected to exercise independent judgment in times of immediate need or emergency situations.

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and determine and execute solutions.

  • Assists in other work areas in the department or ballpark as needed or directed by the Director of Engineering. Duties are not specifically limited to the identified areas listed above.

  • Must be able to work flexible work hours due to Club's non-traditional work schedule. Advance notice will be given for schedule changes whenever possible. May be required to be on call for off hour emergency calls.

  • Game day responsibilities are shared with electrical staff which require work at nights and weekends.

  • Oversee contracted electrical work occurring at the ballpark and related capital repair projects and subcontractors.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

 

Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Five years of experience in maintenance or construction

  • Licensed in State of Colorado

  • City of Denver Fire Department Fire Safety Systems License (Required)

  • Master License (Desirable)

  • Knowledge of Lighting Control Systems

  • Audio/Video knowledge (desirable)

  • Low Voltage knowledge (desirable)

  • Computer Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, pdf.software preferred

  • Consistent, punctual and regular attendance

  • Professional image and demeanor

  • Must be customer service oriented and possess strong customer service skills with a desire to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.

  • The employee must regularly lift up to 51 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices), carry and climb ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces, balance, stoop, kneel. The employee is expected to work in all weather conditions, both in extreme cold and heat.

Engineer - Plumber

Work is assigned by means of verbal or written orders and is carried out by the position in accordance with standard practices of the plumbing trade. Work is subject to inspection while in progress and upon completion. This is a full-time position eligible for all company benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of all plumbing and related systems within Coors Field.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on the building's plumbing and related systems. Related systems include, but not limited to fire sprinkler, boiler, chiller piping, irrigation, pumps, and related components
  • Expected to exercise independent judgement in times of immediate need or emergency situations.
  • Assists in other work areas in the department or ballpark as needed or directed by the Director of Engineering. Duties are not specifically limited to the identified areas listed above. May require to be on call for off hour emergency calls.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours due to the type of organization that employs this position. Advance notice will be given for schedule changes whenever possible. Game day responsibilities are required on nights and weekends.

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of experience in maintenance or construction as a Plumber
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensed in State of Colorado
  • Master License (Desirable)
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Computer Skills
  • Operating equipment used in the building trades - forklift, lifts, carts, etc.
  • Back-flow prevention certificate (Desirable)
  • Welding Knowledge / Certification (Desirable)

  • Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment
  • Licensed in the State of Colorado

Part-time: Facilities Coordinator

Provide facility and event support through a variety of scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and service activities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on seats, benches, cup holders, restroom fixtures and dispensers.

  • Homestand preparations include placing and retrieving flags, banners, turnstile covers & meter bags. Place all road signage required for street closures for games. Install and remove all tents used in and around the stadium.

  • Duties include delivery of programs, setting up folding chairs and misc. deliveries. Open and close operable windows and doors before, during and after games.

  • Assist engineering department with general preventative maintenance work orders including filter changes, light bulb replacements, general carpentry and general building maintenance.

  • Assist in staging of promotional items before games.

  • Off season duties include repair and renumber all seats, overhaul all turnstiles, restock inventories, perform general maintenance on all hardware used during the season.

  • Assists in other work areas in the department or ballpark as needed or directed by the Director of Engineering. Duties are not specifically limited to the identified areas listed above.  

  • Work is assigned by means of verbal or written orders and is carried out by the position in accordance with standard work practices. Work is subject to inspection while in progress and upon completion.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours due to the type of organization that employs this position. Advance notice will be given for schedule changes whenever possible. Game day responsibilities are required on nights and weekends. Must work weekends, nights and holidays on a flexible schedule with frequent work and project changes a possibility.

We have Guest Services Representative positions available:

New employees start at the Gates which allows for experience in all aspects of Ticket Taking and Ushering. This also provides the opportunity to work in a variety of areas throughout the Ballpark.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet guests
