Part-time: Account Representative, Group Sales

PRIMARY PURPOSE

  • Promote Rockies Baseball through the sale of tickets to groups, with an emphasis on Membership Organizations, Non-Profits, Churches and Special Events.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Pre-season/In-season

  • Develop and establish new accounts through lead generation and prospecting, specifically:
    • Membership Organizations
    • Non-Profit Associations
    • Churches
    • Theme Nights
  • Build and maintain relationships with group leaders, ensuring yearly return
  • Assist group leaders with game date selection, seating availability and number of tickets needed
  • Provide support to group leader during sales campaign; assist with promotion and distribution of tickets (i.e., posters, flyers, maps, etc.)
  • Inform group leaders of all group ticket sales policies and ensure that policies are adhered to
  • Track sales and collect unsold tickets/order additional tickets as far in advance as possible
  • Make every effort to resell returned tickets, often on short notice
  • Produce invoices and collect full payment in timely manner
  • Generate new sales ideas, strategies, policies, and theme nights
  • Escort groups to all pre-game ceremonies and batting practice; submit ceremony scripts in timely fashion
  • Assist with pre-game parades (Youth Baseball & Softball, Scout Day, Star Wars Night, etc.)
  • Assist with on-field performances (Square Dance, Denver Broncos Jr. Cheer, Zumba, etc.)
  • Greet group leaders during ballgames to continue to develop relationships
  • Assist with handing out of promo items for all theme nights (College Night, Star Wars Night, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate files and records of each transaction
  • Evaluate group's performances to aid in future sales


Off-season

  • Research new theme night promo items
  • Research new theme night ideas and develop in depth proposals for each
  • Develop and establish new business, church, non-profit & membership contacts through lead generation and prospecting
  • Maintain waiting list of new clients for upcoming season
  • Assist with renewal process for groups who purchased 20 or more tickets
  • Assist with revision of existing group literature (i.e., fliers, letters, etc.) and creation of new group literature


General

  • Conduct all appointments in a professional, efficient and effective manner
  • Return all phone calls and emails promptly
  • Assist other areas or departments as needed
  • If needed, maintain accurate records of mileage and expenses; submit on timely basis


SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Part-time/year-round position, work schedule Monday - Friday, evenings and weekends as needed
  • College degree preferred
  • Responsible individual with consistent work ethic
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Archtics experience preferred.
  • Strong sales experience, preferably related to ticketing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Some physical requirements (lifting boxes, standing/walking for long periods)
  • Consistent, punctual and regular attendance
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Strong ability to work well with co-workers, supervisors and other departments in a team environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings and weekends

Part-time: Promotions / Special Events - Mascot Assistant/Operations Staff

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will assist in all duties of the Colorado Rockies Mascot Program, and assist the Promotions/Special Events department with numerous game related activities as well as the many non-game day events produced by the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club. This position is physical in nature with time requirements on nights, weekends and holidays. Employment will typically begin in early March and end sometime in October.

Duties will include:

  • Assist our Mascot, Dinger, with guest interaction during Rockies' home games and Dinger appearances out in the community
  • Perform, when needed, as Dinger, and Comfort Dental Characters
  • Support pregame activities on-field including: National Anthem, color guards, first pitch, group salutes and other special guests
  • Assist with set-up, maintenance, and financial aspects of the kids Interactive Area
  • Assist with sponsored programs and inning features
  • Support in-stadium promotions
  • Assistance required for game day special events including: Opening Day, Opening Day Fest, Faith Day and other concerts, Fireworks, Fantasy Camp Reunion, Photo Day, Military Appreciation Day, among other events
  • Assistance required with non-game day special events including: Youth Clinics, Client BP, 5k Home Run for the Homeless, charity golf tournament, among other events

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mascot performing experience of at least 1 year at Collegiate or Minor League level.
  • Costume height requirement between 5'10" and 6'2"
  • Work schedule driven by but not limited to Colorado Rockies home schedule
  • Typical shift of this position is approximately 6+ hours with several shifts exceeding 12+ hours
  • Must be able to perform in extreme heat and with limited vision
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • The ability to adapt to changes in schedule or tasks
  • Commitment to work 75+ home games and 90% of special events
  • The ability to work with others as well as independently  
  • Customer service skills

Part-time: Sales Associate - Rockies Dugout Store - Aurora

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the operation of the Colorado Rockies Retail Stores located in Aurora. Work schedule will vary from 15-30 hours per week with weekend hours required. Operations will include but are not limited to:

  • Opening and closing the location
  • Retail sales transactions
  • Ticket transactions
  • Credit Card reconciliation
  • Inventory Maintenance

Customer service is paramount as Associate is responsible for representing the organization and answering questions regarding tickets, in-game promotions, and Community and stadium operations.

Game Day Positions, Guest Services - Event Services, LLC

Event Services, LLC is looking for outgoing, motivated and friendly people to join our Guest Services team during game days at Coors Field

We have Guest Services Representative positions available:

New employees start at the Gates which allows for experience in all aspects of Ticket Taking and Ushering. This also provides the opportunity to work in a variety of areas throughout the Ballpark.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet guests
  • Check and scan tickets
  • Conduct bag checks for prohibited items
  • Provide accurate ticket scan counts
  • Provide guests accurate directions and information
  • Check tickets in seating areas
  • Assist guests to seats and provide quality service to enhance Guest's experience

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Job Summary:
Sales Associates are vital to the guest experience, and providing positive customer service. Associates are responsible for selling merchandise, successfully completing the financial transaction with the customer, and maintaining the balance of the cash drawer at all times.
