Omaha Storm Chasers (68-74)

Engel Beltre's leadoff homer in the 11th dropped Omaha to a game behind Memphis with two to play. The Storm Chasers must win both games and have the Redbirds lose a pair, as Memphis holds the tiebreaker. Christian Colon was 3-for-5 with an RBI. Carlos Pena added a triple, a walk and two runs. Starter Justin Marks allowed two runs, four hits and seven walks over six innings. Brian Sanches had a seven-decision winning streak snapped.

NW Arkansas Naturals (34-34 2nd half, 59-79 overall)

HR: Rey Navarro (12), Mitch Canham (12)

The Naturals lost as Arkansas plated a pair in the ninth, with the winning run scoring on a wild pitch. Jason Adam held the Travelers to an unearned run, four hits and two walks over seven innings. Rey Navarro tied the game with a solo homer in the fifth. Mitch Canham homered in the seventh to give the Naturals a 2-1 lead. Navarro and Whit Merrifield had two hits apiece.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (29-39 2nd half, 62-76 overall)

Wilmington 8, Winston-Salem 3
WP: Cory Hall (1-2 with Wilmington, 3-3 overall)
HR: Dennis Raben 2 (11, 12)

Wilmington scored the final six runs to earn an opening win vs. the Dash. Dennis Raben was 3-for-4 with two home runs, three RBIs, three runs and a walk. Cory Hall pitched a scoreless fifth for the win. Wade Davis struck out five, while allowing one hit over two innings. Louis Coleman worked around an error and a passed ball by fanning the side in the eighth.

Lexington Legends (35-32 2nd half, 68-67 overall)

West Virginia at Lexington -- suspended due to rain

Lexington was trailing 1-0 when play stopped in the fourth inning. The game is scheduled to resume at 1:35 p.m. today, with a seven-inning game to follow.

Idaho Falls Chukars (18-12 2nd half, 37-31 overall)

Idaho Falls 10, Grand Junction 7
WP: Yender Caramo (5-3)
HR: None

Idaho Falls withstood a six-run ninth, finishing 3-1 vs. Grand Junction. Yender Caramo held the Rockies without a hit over eight innings, though he allowed a walk and a run in the first. Hunter Dozier was 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs in his first game back with the Chukars. Frank Schwindel added two hits and three RBIs.
