Best way to watch this walk-off? McGonigoggles!

“McGonigoggles” might become a frequent sight (or future promotion) at Detroit’s Comerica Park in the near future.

Just before Tigers rookie hit his fourth homer of the year on Sunday, the Detroit broadcast showed a young fan named Cece wearing homemade goggles with “McGonigoggles” written on a piece of paper and two plastic cups depicting goggles.

"Last time I went to a Tigers game, I made headbands," Cece said on the Tigers' broadcast. "This time, my dad said, ‘What are you going to make, McGonigoggles?'"

Mere seconds after the broadcast cut back to the game action, McGonigle crushed a Luis Castillo slider 420 feet into the right-field bleachers. It was the latest impressive showing from the 21-year-old McGonigle. The girl put the McGonigoggles back on immediately after the homer, with the Detroit broadcast crew proudly proclaiming, "The McGonigoggles are working today!"

McGonigle sent Cece and the Tigers faithful home happy when he hit a walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the ninth to lift Detroit to a 5-4 victory over Seattle.

"Shoutout, Cece," McGonigle said in his postgame interview. "Thank you so much. Keep wearing those goggles."
