Gear up for the 2026 season with an extra special version of Hot Stove on MLB Network.

Matt Vasgersian, Harold Reynolds and Lauren Shehadi will co-host a live version of MLB Network’s long-running offseason program from the MLB Flagship Store in New York City at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday. The unique episode will feature special guests (such as comedian and baseball fan Roy Wood Jr.), discussion and more.

“There’s always something special when it comes to remote shows and this is no different. New York City, pitchers and catchers, fun baseball talk, Harold and Matt, let’s go,” Shehadi said.

It marks the second straight season Hot Stove has hosted its “Baseball Is Back” episode at the MLB Flagship Store at 1271 Avenue of the Americas in New York.

“It’s always nice to get out of the building and get amongst the people,” Reynolds said. “One of the reasons I love going to New York is it’s the center of everything. You always get a little extra when you go to the MLB Flagship Store, fans coming through, the interactions you can have with them.”

The live episode of Hot Stove precedes MLB Network’s coverage of 2026 Spring Training leading up to Opening Day on March 26. MLB Network will air coverage of Cactus League Media Day in Arizona via MLB Tonight at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday and will also air coverage of the MLB Desert Invitational (Feb. 13-16) and the Andre Dawson Classic (Feb. 20-22).

Spring Training games begin Feb. 20, and MLB Network is set to air live contests every day. The channel’s signature “30 Clubs, 30 Camps” series, covering all 30 teams, begins Feb. 23.

“We’re coming off such a great 2025, the momentum around our sport has never been any better and with so many surprises in store, it just gets you thinking about what a great spring and summer we’re in for,” Vasgersian said.
