In support of Major League Baseball’s “Vaccinate at the Plate” initiative, the White Sox and Cook County Health have announced additional pop-up vaccination events at Guaranteed Rate Field during the series against Toronto on June 8-10.
Located in the Patio near Gate 1, the pop-up vaccination events will offer single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccinations to individuals ages 18 and older. Fans who are vaccinated at Guaranteed Rate Field on June 8-10 will receive two tickets for the White Sox home game that day or a voucher that can be redeemed for two complimentary tickets for select games in June. The pop-up vaccination events at the ballpark include:
- Tuesday, June 8 vs. Toronto at 7:10 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 9 vs. Toronto at 7:10 p.m.
- Thursday, June 10 vs. Toronto at 7:10 p.m.
Fans can register for appointments through the Cook County Health website at bit.ly/soxvax. Time slots are scheduled when the gates open – 90 minutes prior to first pitch – and will be available through the end of the 5th inning. Walk-up appointments will be offered subject to availability.
Fans have the option to receive two free tickets to the home game against Toronto on the same day they receive their vaccination at the ballpark or obtain a voucher for two tickets for a game in the upcoming home series against Toronto (June 8-10) or against Tampa Bay (June 14-16). Vouchers can be redeemed at the Advance Ticket Windows inside the ballpark or at the White Sox Box Office at Gate 4.
Fans should visit the Guest Relations Booth behind home plate on the 100 and 500 levels for more information about the pop-up vaccination events. A full list of Cook County Health vaccination sites can be found at MyShotCookCounty.com.
Fan safety is a top priority at Guaranteed Rate Field. Health and safety measures are in place, including enhanced cleaning protocols, cashless transactions and mobile ticketing. More information about health and safety protocols is available at whitesox.com/safety.
