SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Travis Ishikawa drove in five runs against his former teammates, including a two-run, tie-breaking homer in a five-run seventh inning Sunday that led the White Sox past the Giants, 13-9.
The White Sox trailed, 6-5, when Giants reliever George Kontos walked Jimmy Rollins to open Chicago's seventh inning. Rollins scored on Todd Frazier's triple, which immediately preceded Ishikawa's second Cactus League homer. Avisail Garcia added a two-run homer.
Mac Williamson hit his fifth homer of the spring for the Giants, a two-run drive in the seventh. That was offset by Frazier's two-run clout and Jerry Sands' RBI single in the eighth.

First-inning RBI singles by Brandon Crawford and Kelby Tomlinson gave the Giants a 2-0 lead. The difference grew to 5-0 one inning later as Crawford hit another RBI single and Brandon Belt lashed a two-run double.

The White Sox pulled even with a five-run outburst in the third inning. The biggest blow was a bases-loaded, two-out triple by Ishikawa, whose walk-off homer in the finale of the 2014 National League Championship Series against St. Louis put the Giants into the World Series.

San Francisco forged ahead in the fourth. Belt walked, advanced to third base on Rollins' throwing error and scored on Mat Latos' balk.

Both starters looked vulnerable at times. Giants right-hander Jake Peavy lasted 5 2/3 innings, yielding five runs (three earned) and six hits. Latos worked four innings and surrendered six runs (five earned) along with seven hits.
"I had just a bit of trouble getting the right feel," Peavy said.
"I battled a little bit with fastball command, but for the most part it was there, and I got a couple of good sliders over for strikes," said Latos.
Up next for Giants: Building his durability in case he replaces Matt Cain as the No. 5 starter to open the season, Chris Heston will oppose the D-backs in Scottsdale Stadium's spring finale at 7:05 p.m. PT on Monday. Heston was expected to be San Francisco's long reliever, but Cain's iffy status has changed things.
