June 18, 2019, at Cubs
Eloy Jiménez launched a go-ahead two-run homer against reliever Pedro Stop in the ninth inning at Wrigley Field, defeating the organization where his baseball career started and the same team that eventually traded him as part of the 2017 José Quintana deal. Jiménez’s blast would have left the ballpark, but he broke his bat.

April 26, 2019, vs. Tigers
If you enjoyed Tim Anderson's bat flip following his home run against Kansas City’s Brad Keller during the fourth inning of a home loss to the Royals on April 17, then make sure to check out this follow-up. The White Sox rallied from 8-1 and 10-4 deficits, culminating with Anderson’s two-out walk-off shot off Detroit’s Joe Jiménez and a javelin toss with the bat toward the home dugout.

July 3, 2019, Game 2, vs. Tigers
Yoán Moncada's home run tied the game in the 10th inning against Detroit closer Shane Greene. José Abreu delivered the game-winning three-run shot off Nick Ramirez down the left-field line in the 12th, giving the White Sox a doubleheader sweep and moving them to 41-42 overall.

Aug. 21, 2019, at Twins
The Twins hit four home runs on July 25 in Chicago against Lucas Giolito, the White Sox hurler who finished in a sixth-place tie in American League Cy Young Award voting. That same potent Twins offense finished with three hits and 12 strikeouts in Giolito's shutout at Target Field.

March 29, 2018, at Royals
The 2018 season sure looked bright for the White Sox following a 14-7 Opening Day victory at Kauffman Stadium, even after spotting the Royals a 4-0 lead in the first vs. James Shields. The White Sox homered six times, with Matt Davidson hitting three and Tim Anderson knocking out two.

June 8, 2018, at Red Sox
Dylan Covey struck out seven over six scoreless innings, while Trayce Thompson delivered the game-winning hit in the seventh off Chris Sale, arguably one of the best pitchers in White Sox history. Covey and Thompson are no longer in the White Sox organization, but they provided some excitement at Fenway Park.

May 23, 2019, at Astros
Giolito certainly didn’t mind facing potent offenses leading top-notch teams, as he threw a four-hit shutout at Minute Maid Park. He struck out nine and walked one.

Sept. 5, 2019, at Indians
Reynaldo López did not have a stellar 2019 season, but when he was good, he was very good. In this getaway game at Progressive Field, López threw a one-hitter, with that one hit being a Kevin Plawecki run-scoring line drive somewhat misjudged in right field by Ryan Goins, an infielder by trade. López struck out 11 and walked three.

April 12, 2019, at Yankees
Fans were waiting for Jiménez’s first career home run, and he took care of that task on one of the biggest stages at Yankee Stadium. Jiménez homered twice in this rain-shortened 9-6 victory.

Sept. 3, 2019, at Indians
Dylan Cease fanned 11 over 6 2/3 innings, while Mike Clevinger struck out nine over seven for Cleveland. But two-out eighth-inning home runs from James McCann and Jiménez against Carlos Carrasco made the difference.

Aug. 17, 2019: Brewers 15, Nationals 14
Christian Yelich homered -- No. 40 -- as part of a three-homer, four-run ninth inning for a 12-11 Brewers lead, only to see the Nationals come back to tie it up against Josh Hader. Yelich homered again in the 13th for a 13-12 lead, only to see the Nats come back again. Finally, in the 14th, the Brewers scored twice and this time held off another Nats surge.

June 27, 2019: Dodgers 12, Rockies 8
The Dodgers overcame a shaky Coors Field start from Walker Buehler (seven runs) with a six-homer onslaught -- two by Max Muncy -- for their 12th consecutive win over Colorado.

July 25, 2019: Orioles 10, Angels 8
The Orioles and Angels had been engaged in a marathon, 6-hour, 16-inning, back-and-forth affair when things went from simply weird to historic. That's because of who closed the game -- outfielder Stevie Wilkerson, who recorded a 1-2-3 bottom of the 16th throwing nothing but mid-50 mph floaters to record the first save by a position player in MLB history.

July 12, 2019: Rangers 9, Astros 8
The Rangers scored five runs in the last three innings to erase the Astros' 8-4 lead. The Rangers hit five home runs in this game, including three off Astros starter Gerrit Cole.

June 23, 2019: Pirates 11, Padres 10
Former manager Clint Hurdle called this “one of the best wins that I’ve watched in nine years here,” and it was a wild one. Down three in the ninth against a closer who hadn’t blown a save all season, the Pirates rallied to force extra innings. Down three again in the 11th, they battled back -- and then all of a sudden rookie shortstop Kevin Newman was at the plate, working a walk-off walk to cap the Bucs’ fourth straight win.
