Following today's game vs. the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Juan Minaya to Class AAA Charlotte.
 
Minaya, 27, has appeared in three games this season, allowing three runs with five walks over 1.0 IP.
 
The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow afternoon's series finale vs. the Tigers.
