White Sox introduce Virtual Sox Spring Break Series beginning February 19

Online Fan Celebration Offers Opportunities to Connect with Team through White Sox Social Media and YouTube Channel

CHICAGO – Counting down the days until Opening Day, the Chicago White Sox are connecting fans near and far with their favorite players, coaches and front office executives through a new virtual fan celebration, Sox Spring Break, starting Friday, February 19 at 3 p.m. CT.

Throughout Sox Spring Break, fans will have opportunities to submit questions for exclusive Q&As that will stream on the White Sox YouTube channel as well as connect with the clubhouse with opportunities to win prizes through White Sox social media platforms.

Sox Spring Break will feature virtual conversations about the season ahead and a look back at the most magical moments of the 2020 season, including:

  • Relive History: Giolito’s No-Hitter: White Sox ace Lucas Giolito revisits the magic of his no-hitter on August 25, 2020 with outfielder Adam Engel and assistant pitching coach Curt Hasler. Submit a question for the group here.
  • Rick Hahn Town Hall: White Sox Senior Vice President and General Manager Rick Hahn will join broadcasters Jason Benetti and Len Kasper to discuss roster additions and the club’s promising future. Submit questions through this link.
  • Coaches Roundtable: Hall of Fame Manager Tony La Russa and coaches Ethan Katz and Frank Menechino sit down to talk about expectations for the team and preparations for Opening Day. Submit a question for the panel here.
