CLEVELAND – Following Game 2 of today’s doubleheader at Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Jimmy Lambert to Class AAA Charlotte.

Lambert started and suffered the loss in the second game, allowing two runs on five hits with a career-high five strikeouts over 3.2 IP.

The White Sox active roster returns to 28.
