Since 1946, the Houston Open has been a staple of the Houston community and is the 10th-longest running event on the PGA Tour. In danger of losing the tournament in Houston, Jim Crane stepped in and formed the Astros Golf Foundation in 2018 to operate the Houston Open. This will be the 74th Houston Open and is set to be played for the second-straight year at the newly-renovated Memorial Park Golf Course. Originally founded in 1912 and after a $34 million dollar renovation prior to the 2020 tournament, Memorial Park is now just one of two municipal courses that is PGA certified. General admission tickets and venue hopper tickets are on sale now for the 2021 Houston Open. Visit for information on ticket purchases.
