Eric Hartman's meteoric rise continues.
The Braves' No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline showed that his recent slump is over with another big game on Wednesday, clubbing two homers as part of a three-hit, four-RBI night for High-A Rome in the Emperors' 12-1 win over Hub City at Fifth Third Park.
The performance gives the 20-year-old Hartman 24 homers on the season and brings his slash line to .278/.366/.537 as he continues to display some impressive tools.

Having already joined an exclusive list early this month with his combination of power and speed, the lefty-swinging Hartman swiped another bag on Wednesday to bring his season total to 37 -- making him the only hitter in the Majors or Minors with 20 or more homers and 35 or more steals this season.
Wednesday's display made it back-to-back nights with good signs for Hartman, who had endured a 7-for-52 skid to begin July. Though he's still hitting just .216 this month, Wednesday was his second straight three-hit game, and he has hit safely in five of his past six games to push his season OPS back over .900. Meanwhile, his 24 homers are tied for most in the South Atlantic League.
Hartman's not projected to reach the Majors until 2029. But if he keeps hitting like this, that timeline could accelerate.
