PHILADELPHIA -- Ozzie Albies doesn't waste time when he's in the leadoff spot.
Heading the Braves' batting order for the second time this season, Albies hit his second leadoff home run. The 21-year-old second baseman took Phillies starter Vince Velasquez deep on the first pitch of the game in the Braves' 10-1 win Sunday.
"I was trying to be aggressive," said Albies, who noted he wasn't looking for any specific pitch.

Albies' shot off Velasquez had a 103.7-mph exit velocity and went an estimated 387 feet, according to Statcast™. It was his ninth homer of the season, tying him for the National League lead with the Rockies' Charlie Blackmon.
Albies has hit three leadoff homers in eight games as the Braves' No. 1 hitter during his 84-game career. His other leadoff blast this season came April 14 against the Cubs.

As the Braves secured their third series win over the Phillies this season, Albies finished the game 2-for-5 with a double, three total RBIs and three runs scored. Albies has 34 hits in 27 games this season, 22 of them (12 doubles, nine homers and a triple) have gone for extra bases.
"He's aggressive, he trusts his talents," Braves manager Brian Snitker said. "As you see, he just keeps playing and making adjustments.

Albies was in the leadoff spot Sunday after Snitker rearranged Atlanta's order and put usual leadoff man Ender Inciarte in the No. 9 slot. The lineup worked perfectly in the Braves' series-clinching win, and Snitker said the team would keep Albies in the leadoff spot when the Braves start a three-game series against the Mets on Tuesday.
