Press Release: Atlanta Braves Launch Braves Country Talent Search, Inviting Fans to Perform Live at The Battery Atlanta

2:40 PM UTC

The inaugural contest spans all of Braves Country – from Atlanta to Nashville to Savannah and beyond — with the top act earning a spot on Opening Day 2027

The Atlanta Braves today announced the launch of the Braves Country Talent Search, a first-of-its-kind contest inviting extraordinary performers from across Braves Country to compete for the chance to showcase their talents at The Battery Atlanta on Opening Day 2027. Submissions for the Braves Country Talent Search are now open, with finalists selected to perform live prior to Braves home games throughout the 2026 season and a championship show set for September 12, 2026.

Eligible performance categories include singers and vocalists, dancers, musicians, cirque and acrobatic performers, comedians, and magicians, as well as acts that defy categorization. The contest is open to performers of all ages and backgrounds — whether they've spent decades perfecting their craft or only recently discovered their talent. Minors under 18 require a parent or guardian to submit on their behalf.

Fans can submit their act at Braves.com/Talent and no professional production is required. The Braves' selection team will review every submission, with all genres and skill levels considered. Selected applicants will be contacted to move forward in the process.

Finalists will take the stage live prior to a Braves home game during the 2026 season, performing for fans and a celebrity panel of judges who will select a winner from each date's performers. Those winners will advance to the championship show on September 12, 2026, where the top overall act will be crowned and earn the opportunity to perform on Opening Day 2027 at The Battery Atlanta. Timing and location details will be provided to selected applicants.
