Project Manager
As Project Manager, Stanley helps oversee the implementation of the Cardinals' long-term capital improvement strategy, managing a diverse portfolio of new construction, renovation, and large-scale maintenance and repair projects throughout Busch Stadium. His work spans major building infrastructure and systems, premium and fan-facing spaces, team and employee facilities, and technology and operational improvements.
Stanley manages projects from initial planning through construction and completion, including developing project scopes, soliciting bids, securing project funding, preparing contract work orders, managing budgets and schedules, and overseeing construction. He works closely with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to successfully deliver projects within the unique demands of an active Major League ballpark, where construction schedules must be carefully coordinated around baseball games, events, and ongoing facility operations.
His project portfolio includes the development of the 703 Club, an all-inclusive premium space, as well as video board installations, LED lighting upgrades, clubhouse and team facility improvements, HVAC and fire suppression system replacements, structural and building-envelope repairs, office renovations, and the development and renovation of fan-facing entertainment areas.
Stanley joined the Cardinals in 2013, initially serving as Systems Coordinator, then Security Manager before transitioning into project management. During his time in security, he helped advance the organization's physical security program and ultimately achieve SAFETY Act certification through the implementation of new technologies, systems, and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining the Cardinals Front Office, Stanley held several positions within the University of Missouri–Columbia Athletic Department. In 2013, he received the Anton J. Stankowski Achievement Award in recognition of his dedication to team and department values and significant contributions to Team Mizzou.
Stanley graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri–Columbia, earning two bachelor's degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
