Be there for the first time the Padres rep’ these on the field this Friday, July 8 against the San Francisco Giants. Fans who purchase tickets to July 8 and scan their ticket will have the chance to receive a free Padres City Connect Debut digital collectible from Candy.
City Connect
The Nike MLB City Connect series honors the history that binds clubs, fans, cities, and culture. Our design is inspired by two countries, two vibrant cultures, together as one. The San Diego Padres will debut their Nike MLB City Connect uniform on the field Friday, July 8 at 6:40 p.m. PT when they host the San Francisco Giants. All future Friday home games at Petco Park, the Padres will wear this City Connect uniform.

Gear is available for purchase at the Padres New Era Team Store, located downtown San Diego at 215 Tony Gwynn Dr. The Team Store is open seven days a week, including Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Store hours are extended on July 1-3 until 7 p.m. PT. Additionally, merchandise is available for sale online at Nike and mlb.shop.com.
Special Events
If you can’t make it to the game on Friday night, join the Padres at the City of Chula Vista Block Party on Friday, July 8 from 4 - 9 p.m. PT. On Saturday, July 9, head to the Beach House Belmont Park in Mission Beach for the Padres City Connect Surf & Skate Park from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. PT. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase City Connect gear at each of these events.
