The San Diego Rodeo returns to Petco Park, January 16–18, 2026! Get ready for three days of action-packed, family-friendly excitement featuring the world’s top rodeo athletes. Presented by C5 Rodeo Co. and Outriders Presents in partnership with the Padres, this unforgettable event brings an authentic rodeo experience to the heart of downtown San Diego.

Kick off the weekend with BeerFest on Friday and Saturday, featuring beer specials from local and national breweries in Gallagher Square, from the time gates open until first competition. After Friday’s final event, stay in your seats to see hundreds of drones light up the night sky in a spectacular display. On Sunday, bring the whole family for a western-themed KidsFest, complete with games, balloon artists, and other inflatables.

Returning for 2026 are daily rodeo after-parties each night in Gallagher Square featuring live performances by:

• Friday, January 16: Texan maverick Charley Crockett
• Saturday, January 17: Torchbearer of outlaw country Jamey Johnson
• Sunday, January 18: Outlaw country heavyweight Cody Jinks

Many of the sport’s most talented cowboys will be returning to participate for more than half a million dollars in prize money. Additionally, with our city’s rich history of rodeo culture dating back hundreds of years, the San Diego Rodeo will continue to incorporate cultural practices featuring local charros.
