Friday's Phillies-White Sox game postponed

Fans with tickets can use them for Saturday night's second game of doubleheader

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies postponed Friday night's game against the White Sox at Citizens Bank Park because of rain.

The game will be made up at 8:15 p.m. ET on Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader.

Tickets to Friday's game will be honored for the 8:15 p.m. game, with fireworks to follow immediately. Gates open at 7:15 p.m.

Saturday's originally scheduled game will begin an hour earlier at 3:05 p.m. Gates will open at 1:05 p.m.

Phillies right-hander Jonathan Pettibone will face White Sox left-hander John Danks in the afternoon. Phillies left-hander John Lannan will face White Sox left-hander Hector Santiago at night.

Again, fans with tickets to Friday's game should attend the 8:15 p.m. game. Both games will be televised on CSN and on MLB.TV.
