Injury: Right shoulder inflammation
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Has thrown multiple bullpens, but the medical staff has asked him to "slow down and make sure we get everything right." (updated Feb. 28)
CF Brenton Doyle
Injury: Left wrist sprain
Expected return: TBD
Status: MRI showed a sprained left wrist. Will rest before being reevaluated in a few days. (updated Feb. 27)
LHP Kyle Freeland
Injury: Mid-back spasms
Expected return: TBD
Status: Freeland threw a bullpen session on Feb. 24 and said all was good. He'll throw another soon. Manager Warren Schaeffer said the hope is he will pitch in a game within a week. (updated Feb. 26)
LHP Carson Palmquist
Injury: Bruised shin

Status: Palmquist was scratched from a Feb. 26 appearance because of the incident. Manager Warren Schaeffer said damage was not extensive. (updated Feb. 26)

Injury: Low back tightness

Status: Warren Schaeffer said he is keeping Julien out of the lineup as he receives treatment. (updated Feb. 26)
RHP Jeff Criswell
Injury: Torn right elbow ligament
IL date: Feb. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: April
Status: Targeting the middle of April to return to game action. He hopes to face hitters before the end of Spring Training. (updated Feb. 26)
1B Blaine Crim
Injury: Oblique strain
Expected return: TBD
Status: Crim, who left the Feb. 23 game with the injury, said he has never dealt with an oblique injury before, so he is simply following the instructions of the athletic training staff. (updated Feb. 24)
OF-INF Tyler Freeman
Injury: Back soreness
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Freeman, who underwent an anti-inflammatory injection weeks before camp began, is doing on-field work. (updated Feb. 23)
OF Jared Thomas (Rockies No. 8)
Injury: Right hamate surgery
Expected return: TBD
Status: Thomas underwent surgery in November, but the inflammation has lasted much longer. After a recent exam, Thomas and doctors are addressing the issue (which is not uncommon) with medication. (updated Feb. 23)
DH Kris Bryant
Injury: Lumbar degenerative disk disease
IL date: Feb. 10 (60-day IL)
