  • First Ball: Head Football Coach for Penn State, James Franklin.

  • Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame Night: Phillies alum and World Series champion Pat Burrell will be bestowed with one of the Phillies' highest honors as he becomes the 37th inductee into the Phillies Wall of Fame.
    • Current and former Phillies players who were part of Burrell's career will participate in the pre-game, on-field ceremony.
    • Phillies Wall of Famers participating in the ceremony include: Jim Bunning (1984), Steve Carlton (1989), Mike Schmidt (1990), Larry Bowa (1991), Dick Allen (1994), Greg Luzinski (1998), Garry Maddox (2001), Tony Taylor (2002), Bob Boone (2005), Dallas Green (2006), Juan Samuel (2008), Darren Daulton (2010), John Kruk (2011), Mike Lieberthal (2012) and Charlie Manuel (2014).
    • A 14"x20" cast bronze plaque of Burrell will be added to the Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame display located in the Memory Lane section of Ashburn Alley.
    • All fans will receive a commemorative print of Pat Burrell, courtesy of Toyota.
  • National Anthem: Star Spangled Singers directed by Joanne Gabriel.

  • Earlier in the Day: The Phillies Mural Dedication. The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Phillies will host a dedication for the Phillies Mural on the Walnut Street Bridge; festivities will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the dedication and speaker program at 11:30 a.m. Created by award-winning Mural Arts Program artist David McShane, The Phillies Mural towers eight stories high and faces the Schuylkill River and I-76 Schuylkill Expressway. Located on a 24th & Walnut Street building, the 3,750 square-foot mural features 34 prominent players and icons depicting Phillies historical moments. Some of the Phillies greats featured in the mural will be in attendance at this free event.
  • Toyota Phillies Alumni Night: More than 50 Phillies Alumni will be introduced pre-game including Hall of Famers Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton and Jim Bunning, as well as Phillies Wall of Famers, including the newest inductee, Pat Burrell.
    • Phillies Alumni will be signing autographs at various ballpark locations from 5:45 - 6:15 p.m. 
    • The John Vukovich Award will be presented to Steve Schrenk, pitching coach for the Gulf Coast Phillies, by Vincent Vukovich. The John Vukovich Award is presented annually to an instructor in the Phillies organization who embodies the characteristics of the late John Vukovich, the longest-tenured coach in team history.
  • National Anthem: Bucks County Community College Concert Choir directed by Rochelle Reed.
  • Phillies Charities, Inc. Silent Auction: will take place at the First Base Gate until 8:30 p.m.
    • Items will include new and game used memorabilia from Phillies Alumni and current players. 
  • Traffic Alert: Fans should be aware of dual events taking place at the sports complex that evening. In addition to the game, there is an event at the Wells Fargo Center.

SUNDAY: 1:35 p.m. … All Gates Open - 11:35 a.m. … Broadcast: CSN, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, SportsRadio 94WIP and in Spanish on SAP.

  • Pre-game: Special live taping of Phillies W.B. Mason Behind the Pinstripes with Phillies Alumni and host Scott Palmer in Ashburn Alley at 12:00 p.m.
  • Toyota Phillies Alumni Fathead: All fans will receive a removable wall graphic featuring five Phillies Wall of Fame players-Steve Carlton, Darren Daulton, Dick Allen, Mike Schmidt and the newest inductee, Pat Burrell.
  • Celebrate Sundays! Complimentary face painting in the First Base Plaza and behind sections 233-235, $5 ice cream sundaes and root beer floats at Harry the K's starting in the 4th inning.

More: Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend Festivities, July 30-August 2, take place throughout the series against the Atlanta Braves. Each day features opportunities to see former Phillies All-Stars and Wall of Famers. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be on the lookout, as they never know who they will bump into around the ballpark.
