2022

Pitched in the majors for the second straight season; attended his second Major League Spring Training (also 2021) and made one appearance in Grapefruit League play before beginning the season with Triple-A Worcester...After allowing seven earned runs through his first six outings with Worcester, did not give up an earned run in his next nine (12.1 IP), spanning 5/1-6/1; also did not allow a run in a season-best 12.2 consecutive innings from 6/12-7/8...Selected to the Major League roster on 9/1 and remained with the Red Sox through the end of the season...Allowed multiple runs in two of his first three outings for the Red Sox, but gave up only one run over 12.1 IP (0.73 ERA) in his remaining nine outings...Allowed zero runs in his five outings from 9/10-24 (6.0 IP, 5 H, BB, K)...Did not allow a run in his final three appearances: 9/29 vs. BAL, 10/2 at TOR, and 10/5 vs. TB...Tossed a scoreless fifth inning on 10/5 vs. TB to earn the first win of his Major League career (H, BB)...Held left-handed hitters to a .167 average (4-for-24) in the Majors.

Made his ML debut and appeared in two games with BOS (3.0 IP, 0 R, 1 H)...Pitched in only 11 games for Triple-A Worcester due to a stint on the injured list...In Spring Training, appeared in four Grapefruit League games (5.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 4 SO, 1 SV)...Made his ML debut when he was appointed the Sox’ 27th man for their doubleheader vs. MIN on 4/14...Pitched a scoreless seventh inning in Game 2 (2 BB, 1 SO)...Recalled by BOS on 5/12 and pitched 2.0 scoreless innings that day vs. OAK (1 H, 2 SO)...Placed on the minor league IL on 5/22 with a right lat strain...On 7/5, was reinstated from the IL, recalled by BOS, and placed on the 60-Day IL...Made three rehab appearances with the FCL Red Sox (8/13-21) and four with Worcester (8/29-9/8)...Reinstated from the IL and optioned to Worcester on 9/13...Recalled by BOS on 9/26 and remained with the club until being optioned to Worcester on 10/3.

Selected as a 2019 Carolina League mid-season All-Star for High-A Salem...The 2019 season was his first as a full-time reliever...He went 5-2 with a 2.21 ERA (18 ER/73.1 IP) in 38 appearances between Salem and Double-A Portland...Allowed 0 ER in his final 11 outings of the 2019 season (14.2 IP, 1 R).
