The Seattle Mariners & Major League Baseball have launched a baseball-themed, online education program for kids called Summer Slugger. This interactive, gamified course makes learning fun, and helps prevent the āsummer slideā - the loss of critical math and literacy skills during the vacation months. The course is recommended for 4th-5th graders and is available to individual students, schools, and community organizations at no cost.
