Our communities should be places where everyone can thrive. The Mariners and Mariners Care are dedicating our people, partnerships, and philanthropy to help make this possible. Across King County and Washington State, there is a sizeable gap between the health and economic outcomes of many Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and their white peers. The systems that created this gap threaten the vitality of our entire community. We cannot be a truly thriving region until everyone has the opportunity for good health and economic stability. Learn more about our commitments.
The Community Impact Grant program seeks to increase positive health outcomes for youth and accelerate equitable outcomes for BIPOC communities across Washington State.
The On BASE Hometown Nine is a five-year commitment to nine (9) incoming eighth-graders in King, Pierce and Snohomish county that will offset playing fees, combat disparate playing experiences, provide mentorship, and uplift athletes of color in our region.
It is the goal and responsibility of the organization to be a community leader. Mariners Care, the team's non-profit foundation, has helped raise over a million dollars for various charities and community projects.
