Digital Ticketing in the MLB.com Ballpark App FAQs

MLB.com Ballpark app - Account Linking

Do I need an MLB.com account?

Yes. When you download the MLB.com Ballpark app, you will need to create or log in with an MLB.com account. An MLB.com account is free and easy to create directly from the MLB.com Ballpark app or any mariners.com webpage from the top navigation bar.

Is my MLB.com account the same as my "My Mariners Account" ticket account?

No, but you can link your accounts by following the instructions below. Once your accounts are linked, you can use the different features and functionalities of either MLB.com Ballpark or My Mariners Account to manage your tickets.

How do I locate my "My Mariners Account" account?

Your ticket account (My Mariners Account) is where your Mariners tickets are held. You are issued an account number (by mail or email) and typically an email address is associated with that account as well. If you are having trouble locating or accessing your ticket account, please contact us at fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

Why can't my ticket account be found?

Not all ticket account types are currently supported for Mariners digital tickets. At this time, only "My Mariners Account" ticket holders (e.g., Mariners Season Ticket Holders, select Group ticket and Suite buyers) can be linked or used in the MLB.com Ballpark app. Most single-game ticket purchasers will not be able to manage their Mariners tickets using MLB.com Ballpark. If you have additional questions, please contact us at fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

Why do I need to link my account?

Your MLB.com Ballpark app is associated with your MLB.com account. Since your MLB.com account and your ticket account are separate systems, you need to identify an associated ticket account in order to link the two systems and retrieve your tickets in the app.

How do I link my account?

Click the "Tickets" tab and scroll to "Manage Ticket Accounts". Tap the "Link Account" button, then enter the email address tied to your Mariners ticket account. An email will be sent to that address for you for verification. . Click on the link in the verification email to complete linking your "My Mariners Account" with your MLB.com account.

What if I don't receive the confirmation email or "My Mariners Account" is not found?

Make sure that you entered your email address correctly and that it is the address associated with your Mariners ticket account. If you still do not receive your notification or your account is not located, please contact us at fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

How do I link multiple accounts?

You can link another ticket account (e.g., for another MLB team) to the same MLB.com account by following the same process.

How do I unlink an account?

You can unlink any individual "My Mariners Account" from your MLB.com account by navigating to "Manage Ticket Accounts" at the bottom of the Ticket Dashboard or to the "Ticket Accounts" section in "Settings" of the MLB.com Ballpark app.

What if the email address associated with my ticketing account is different from the email address associated with my MLB.com account?

You can link any email address tied to your "My Mariners Account" with your MLB.com account as long as you can receive emails at that address. If you cannot receive email at the address associated with your ticket account, contact us as fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

I just linked my MLB.com and Mariners ticket accounts. Why aren't my tickets showing up?

Reminder: at this time only "My Mariners Account" tickets (e.g., Season Ticket Holders and select Group Ticket and Suite buyers) can be linked in the MLB.com Ballpark app. If you are in one of these groups, tap the refresh symbol on the Ticket Dashboard to see updated ticket inventory (located under "My Mariners Account"). Then check that the ticket account you linked holds the tickets you expect to see and that are looking under the correct "Team" (located in the top left corner of the app).

If the tickets are still not showing up in the Ballpark app, you may manage your tickets through "My Mariners Account" in the Ticket Dashboard. For additional help, please contact us at fancare@marinners.com or (206) 346-4001.

What delivery methods work with MLB.com Ballpark app (ex. Print at Home, Mail or Will Call)?

No specific delivery method is required to use digital tickets in the MLB.com Ballpark app. Your active tickets will appear in the Ticket Dashboard of the app. To use your tickets within the app, simply present your mobile device with your ticket open in MLB.com Ballpark (you can also still print tickets at home from My Mariners Account if you prefer). Digital tickets must be presented within MLB.com Ballpark or My Mariners Account at the ballpark. Fans may be asked to "refresh" their ticket in order to prove that the ticket is valid and active in the Ballpark app. Copies of barcodes presented through third-party applications, screenshots or print outs will not be accepted at the ballpark.

Do Print at Home tickets need to be printed to view them in the MLB.com Ballpark app?

No. If you have already printed your tickets, then the MLB.com Ballpark app will display the existing barcode. If you have not printed your tickets, then the MLB.com Ballpark app will generate a barcode when the tickets are retrieved.

When I retrieve a ticket using the app, will it invalidate existing tickets that were previously printed?

No, if tickets were printed, then the app will display the existing barcode. Either the printed copy or the mobile barcode in the app can be used as a ticket.

What if I do not see recent tickets that were added to my account after I logged into My Mariners Account?

To refresh ticket inventory, tap the refresh icon in the Ticket Dashboard. Please note that only My Mariners Account tickets will be displayed. Single game Mariners tickets cannot currently be managed using MLB.com Ballpark.

MLB.com Ballpark app - Scan View

How do I access the ticket to scan for entry?

Tap on an individual ticket from the Ticket Dashboard. The Section/Row/Seat, barcode and event information will be displayed along with access to the terms and conditions governing your ticket. Present the barcode view (Scan View) on your mobile device for entrance into the ballpark. Swipe the screen to view multiple tickets for the same game.

Why is no barcode showing?

Some teams may display their barcode only at a certain time before the event. If this is the case, there will be a message where your barcode normally displays. If this is not the case, your ticket may not be eligible for display and you should go to the Customer Service Window at the Safeco Field Box Office for assistance on game days or contact us as fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

I just forwarded a Mariners ticket using MLB.com Ballpark . Why do I still see it?

Your Mariners ticket, without the barcode, will remain in your Ticket Dashboard until your forward is accepted by the recipient. If you wish to cancel the forward, click "Cancel" directly from the ticket.

Can I use a screenshot of my ticket?

No, screenshots of tickets will not be accepted. Digital tickets must be presented within MLB.com Ballpark or My Mariners Account at the ballpark. Fans may be asked to "refresh" their ticket in order to prove that it is from the app. Copies of barcodes presented through third-party applications, screenshots or print outs will not be accepted at the ballpark.

Is Apple Wallet supported?

The MLB.com Ballpark app does not currently support Apple Wallet.

What if I cannot see my tickets?

If you have your correct ticket account linked and are in the correct home team's view on the Ticket Dashboard and are still not able to see your tickets, please go to the Customer Service Window at the Safeco Field Box Office for assistance on game days or contact us as fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

Why won't my ticket barcode scan?

If your screen brightness is too low, the barcode may have difficulty being scanned. The MLB.com Ballpark app will automatically attempt to increase the brightness of your display or you can do so manually by following the instructions for your device. The barcode that is displayed is accompanied by a number. If there are difficulties reading a valid barcode on a digital ticket displayed within MLB.com Ballpark or My Mariners Account, the Gate Host can manually enter the barcode number into the scanning device to validate your ticket. Only digital tickets generated from the MLB.com Ballpark app and My Account Manager will accepted. Copies of barcodes presented through third-party applications, screenshots or print outs will not be accepted at the stadium.

What if I lose connectivity after I've retrieved my tickets?

The data associated with your tickets will be saved to a storage area on your phone. If you have previously retrieved details for tickets to a game and those tickets are still valid, then they can be re-displayed out of this storage without re-establishing a connection. Since connectivity may be intermittent at the ballpark, we encourage you to download your tickets to your supported device before heading to the game.

If I access my tickets from the MLB.com Ballpark app, can I still have them printed at a kiosk or will call window?

Since tickets retrieved within MLB.com Ballpark will now be considered printed, the tickets will not be available for pickup at a kiosk. You should present the ticket displayed in MLB.com Ballpark on your device to be scanned for entry at the gate. If you are unable to access your tickets, then you should go to the Customer Service Window at the Safeco Field Box Office on game days for assistance or you can use My Mariners Account to print paper tickets ahead of time. If you have any questions, please contact us at fancare@mariners.com or (206) 346-4001.

What do I do if my mobile device's battery dies?

You can go to the Customer Service Window at the Safeco Field Box Office for assistance. Also, many Safeco Field has phone chargers on each concourse.
